Christo Zemering is a seasoned manufacturing executive with more than 15 years of global leadership experience across Celanese, GE Plastics, and SABIC Innovative Plastics. As Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering Materials—and later Global EHS & Manufacturing Excellence—at Celanese, Christo drove enterprise-wide operational transformations, embedding best-in-class safety and performance practices. Earlier, he spent nine years with GE/SABIC in regional manufacturing director and site-management roles, where he spearheaded major footprint-optimization programs, including consolidating four European compounding facilities into a single high-efficiency hub.

Possessing dual master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Environmental, Health & Safety from Delft University of Technology, Christo blends deep technical acumen with strategic vision to deliver sustainable productivity gains. Based in Amsterdam, he is fluent in Dutch, German, and English.
